If they wont eat it, put it in their drink.
Seriously! My Kids help me make “Slushies” in our Nutri-Ninja Pro & they put the ingredients in, they actually see baby spinach leaves, carrots, cucumber, kale, tomatoes and these things going in (that they will not eat if I put it on a plate). As long as we add some sweet strawberries, pineapple, blueberries or something, they will drink it… and ask for more.

We have a pineapple allergy…would you suggest swapping with apple or just upping the other ingredients? Sounds like such a great juice!
Renee says
Hi Kylie, that’s a tricky one. Is Pineapple allergy rare?
The pineapple packs a bit of punch and helps sweet the bitterness of the veg and the citrus spike, so in a way its a bit of a peacemaker between the bitter and the acidic flavours so I don’t know if apple would cut it. It could. I am think another tropical sweet flesh fruit might work as well, like mango maybe?
Penny says
Ah, I’ll try anything to keep the snot away!

Ooh that sounds yum, and I reckon my kids would love it too! Celery in smoothies is such a great idea. I reckon they’d like this frozen as an iceblock for summer too.
Renee says
ohhh great idea. Ice-blocks would work well.
