Disclosure and Privacy.
Play Based Parenting is a personal blog founded, written and edited by me, Renee. Through my blog I may accept forms of sponsorship, paid supplements or other forms of compensation. Any compensation received are a way of keeping this blog afloat and they will never dictate the content or posts I publish.
Anything published on PBP is my own expertise, experience or opinion. As the owner of Play Based Parenting, I can be compensated to provide my opinion on products or services. However, I always give my honest opinions and experiences on those products or services.
Play Based Parenting can contain links that are part of an affiliate program. This means that I will receive a very tiny percentage of any sale purchased using one of my clickable affiliate links. This does not affect you in any way, shape or form, yet it is a good way to support my efforts of blogging should you choose to follow an affiliate link.

PBP may use third-party advertising companies such as Adsense, Amazon and Nuffnang, to serve content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use cookies.
Affiliate Programs
This blog engages in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the Website. If you click on an affiliate link or advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any clicks or sales you make. This is like a referral from me and is done for the purposes of commissions.
Play Based Parenting participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees, or a commission by advertising and sharing links to Amazon.com. As part of this Amazon may post customised links, to track the referrals to their website. This program utilises cookies to do so.
Newsletters
You have the option to subscribe to PBP’s newsletter, which may be used for advertising PBP content, blog posts or advertising purposes. All newsletters sent through mail chimp may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online email campaigns. This allows me to see if, and when you open an email and which links within the email you visit. This allows me to analyse what my audience likes best. None of your information will be passed on to third parties and the only interest I have is the behaviour of readers, so I can better future email campaigns. Email addresses are stored on Mailchimp, please refer to their privacy policy if you are concerned.
PBP newsletters aren’t spammy, they won’t overload your inbox, they aren’t evenly weekly. I will send out a newsletter, to update you on new content, or old content that has become popular and remember, you have the right to opt out of newsletters if it isn’t for you anymore. No hard feelings.
